The convenient proximity to popular spots like Alcatraz East Crime Museum, just a short walk away, made exploring so enjoyable, and I loved being able to grab a delicious meal at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen within minutes of leaving my room.

We loved the spacious standard loft with a comfy bed, large fridge, and private bathroom. Walking distance to everything was a huge plus!

The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a

budget-friendly hotel, and I appreciated the spaciousness of the room. However, the breakfast options were quite limited, and the staff could be more attentive during peak hours.

The stay was perfect for our large family, especially with the kids. We loved the outdoor pool area where they could splash around. Plus, the location was fantastic, letting us easily hit local attractions like the Riverwalk Greenway, which was great for our bike rides.

My kids wished for a better breakfast selection and maybe some healthier options for the little ones. A more engaging kid-friendly menu would have made our mornings smoother.

Spacious room, friendly staff, and convenient location made our stay enjoyable, particularly with the added benefit of good in-room coffee and free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel.

Housekeeping was lacking.

The location was a jump away from Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, so we feasted on some scrumptious Southern bites—those omelettes were next-level! Plus, the housekeeping was on point, making sure our towels were topped up without a hitch.

Now for the bummer—the bed felt like a rock with metal springs singing a sad song, and oh boy, the smart TV was a tease without WiFi. We ended up bolting home a day early just for some comfort!

The Wi-Fi was reliable, and we enjoyed walking the Riverwalk Greenway. The trails were perfect for biking and running, and the place was cozy for our group. The staff was friendly, which made our stay even better. Just a heads up, the breakfast was basic, but it worked for us. We'd definitely come back for more fun!

We encountered a rude manager during check-in who made it difficult to get the right room. It left a bad taste initially, but we managed to enjoy the stay despite that.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, free parking, and a seasonal outdoor pool. The friendly staff even helped me with directions during my first stay. Highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday. I'm coming back soon!

we loved our stay at timbers lodge! the queen room was clean and spacious, with extra towels provided. the staff went above and beyond, bringing us milk for our little one. it’s super close to fun places like go-karts and mini-golf, which the kids enjoyed. being pet-friendly was a huge plus for us!

Couples Beware of This Place

I gotta say though, the bed was really comfy and the view we had was nice, but things went south fast. The first night we had ants partying all over our coffee pot, like, who even invited them? !

This place certainly didn’t come cheap but I guess you know what they say, it’s a gamble.
